I am loving your bins, bought a third one from your company. I first purchased the basic brown bin, still have it, great can no complaints (purchased that can back in 2006). Bought another can the PAK195 back in 2009 and that can seems to be working jsut fine. However I purchased a 3rd can the Bearicuda Fortress, the yellow can with the twist on lid and I must say I do have one complaint. First the lid is very heavy and is tough for a female to lift, anyway to make the lid a bit lighter? Also one night my boyfriend did not tightent he lid down all the way, given he is not up to date at what happens at my home he probably did not know to tighten it down all the way and the bear got into it. He told me he did tighten it down enough he thought. Having said that should a bear still get into the Fortress even though the lid may not be on extremely tight? I generally use the fortress for squirells and raccoons. In all fairrness that is what your company told me the Fortress is best used for but unfortunately at one of my other properties that always had squirells and raccoons a bear has now showed up. So the initial use was for critters but now I may need it for this one bear. Any suggestions? Otherwise VERY HAPPY!
